hi.

you look weary from all that web-surfing -- stop and sit a spell. we here at the ohio state university undergraduate philosophy club often do so, as it is difficult to philosophize with sore feet.

contrary to popular belief, we do not merely concern ourselves with the arcane thoughts of old, dead white guys. instead, we are dedicated to bringing you intense and entertaining philosophical discussion on issues that matter to you. politics, law, ethics, sociology, psychology, linguistics, or just about anything else is fair game for a philosophy club talk. the dynamic, interactive presentations are given by only the most interesting professors and grad students, all of whom are personally hand-picked by philosophy club officers with your input.

if you would like to be added to our listserve, simply e-mail president ondrick.2@osu.edu and make your request. you will receive one e-mail a week with a brief description of the week's topic. that's it. no pressure, no obligation, come as you are. we meet every wednesday night at 7:30 pm in university hall, room 347 -- you know, the one with the really comfortable couches. free couches, man! besides, what else are you doing wednesdays at 7:30? it's too late for class and too early to drink.

feel free to browse around the site to learn more about us, and if you are so inclined, stop in and visit us some time! we always enjoy new faces.
